MAY’S MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS YOGA PLAYLIST VIDEO MEMBERSHIP

This coming May, from Wednesday 1 May 2024, please join us for our new yoga playlist.  We have a selection of 36 yoga videos (1 each day for May, and a few extras if you need something different).  We have selected yoga classes from all of our specialties, including vinyasa flows, sports yoga, gentle relax and restore yoga, yoga for healthy backs, and relaxations and meditations… something for everyone…  Most yoga video classes run for around 25 minutes, so you can fit them into your day and try and get into a regular yoga habit.  Why not do 2 or 3 in one session?!

Our focus is on movement and mindfulness, to improve your physical and mental wellbeing.

It’s £10 to sign up.  All you need to do is:

  2. Say, “I’m in!”
  3. Pay your £10 to Faye Koe HSBC 40.02.03 a/c 71318098
  4. Confirm your email address for the links and passwords
  5. Wait till 6am 1 May 2024, when you will sent the new links and passwords
  6. Enjoy yoga every day in May, anytime, anywhere…
  7. Re-do those you love
  8. Check out the other yoga channels and all previous playlists, some 480 yoga videos, as included in your membership is full access to these too!

Our private yoga classes are tailored to your specific physical, emotional and medical needs.  Prices start at £60 per hour with Faye Koe, a British Wheel Of Yoga Teacher, here in our intimate yoga space in Walton on Thames, Surrey.  We only have a few slots left so please get in touch to discuss availability, thank you.

We can offer one-to-one yoga classes , two-to-one sessions or smaller group classes too.

Whatever your requirements, private 1-2-1 yoga classes may offer the solution.  Please contact us for further information.

POSE OF THE MONTH EAGLE POSE/ GARUDASANA

Our key balance in some of our classes this month has been Eagle pose/ Garudasana. Garuda is a fierce bird of prey.
Although this balance is one of the most compact, in terms of shape and centre of gravity, it’s one of the trickiest balances, because of the twisted limbs; and because the focal point (dristi) also edges slightly left or right of centre, because both arms are in the way.  (You may like to try to gaze at a focal point on the arms or hands).
Garudasana strengthens the ankles and is a wonderful stretch to the shoulders.  It also helps to build strength and stamina and this balance can serve to still the mind.
