Body Soul Yoga takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting your privacy and data.

Responsible Person and Staff

Our Owner and Founder, Faye Koe, is the person responsible for ensuring that Body Soul Yoga complies with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and all existing and subsequent, relevant legislation. Everyone at Body Soul Yoga has been trained in how to handle personal information.

Requesting Information, Amendment and Destruction of Data

You may request details of all the personal information that we hold about you under the Data Protection Legislation. A small fee may be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to Faye Koe at info@bodysoulyoga.co.uk or to Body Soul Yoga, 10 Berkeley Gardens, Walton on Thames, KT12 2PQ.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will correct any information found to be incorrect within 28 days of receipt of that request.

You are also entitled to request that any data we hold on you is destroyed or erased, and we shall comply with that request within 28 days of receipt of that request. In any event, if you have not been to our studio or had a yoga lesson for a period of 12 months we have measures in place to destroy your yoga health questionnaire and the written information that you voluntarily provided to us.

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information such as your contact email address, for updates, newsletters or direct marketing purposes, we will continue to keep this information but you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at info@bodysoulyoga.co.uk

What Data Do We Hold and How We Use It?

Body Soul Yoga gathers and retains personal information about you when you voluntarily submit it to us. For example, if you choose to complete and submit a contact form via the our Contact page, we will use the data you submit to respond to your enquiry and consider your request. You may also have contacted us via email for more information and again we will use the data you submit to consider and respond to your enquiry. We will retain the information you submitted and may use or disclose your information as provided in this Privacy Policy.

You are under no obligation to provide any personal data. However, we may ask you for your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. We will only collect personal information from you which you have provided to us, so please do not submit your personal data to us if you do not wish us to collect it.

We may ask for further information from you before you attend a yoga class, private yoga session, yoga therapy or yoga workshop for insurance purposes and to obtain a better understanding of how Body Soul Yoga can improve our services to you and ensure that you are safe when practicing yoga with us. Such information may include your medical history and details of any past of present injuries or other factors which may affect your practice. In all instances it is entirely your choice as to whether you provide such information.

All of our electronic information is stored securely and is password protected and any hard copies are in a private, secure cabinet, when not in use.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and physically via our health questionnaires.

Third Parties

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties and will not do so unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
