Symmetry In Yoga | Body Soul Yoga Walton Surrey
Our focus this week in our yoga classes was on Symmetry. By balancing the tissues and muscles, we can prevent injuries often caused by imbalance and misalignment in the body. Symmetrical yoga postures also allow you to feel balanced and grounded as you focus on your physical body and connect deeply with how you feel. So think about mimicking what the right side of your body does with the left. Equal and mirrored. Think also about an equal amount of air through both nostrils and an equal amount of breath in each lung.
