Day 20 Back Bends Yoga Flow
Today we are flowing, and working into some lovely back bends. Back bends are opening, invigorating and exciting; as opposed to forward bends that are quietening and inward facing.
So breathe into the chest and heart space and feel confident and open today. Feel your body open up and your spine improving its suppleness and flexibility.

In Upward Facing Dog: Align the shoulders over the wrists. (It’s always important to stack yourself correctly in any yoga pose in order to protect the joints.) Lift up the thighs and pull the shoulders down. Open up your heart.
Upward Facing Dog strengthens the spine, arms and wrists. It improve posture, by stretching the anterior spine and strengthening the posterior spine. It stretches and open the chest, lungs, shoulders and abdomen. And it helps to relieve depression, fatigue and the pain of sciatica.
