This yoga workshop is based on the Kundalini Saahibee Kriya. A Kriya is a set of postures, breath and sound that can result in a physical and mental change; which can affect the mind, body and spirit. If you haven’t tried Kundalini yoga before, then why not give it a go?

We will start with some chanting, to tune into ourselves!  Yikes!!! (Don’t worry, feel free to listen or just give it a go!). You don’t need to be a good singer – just enjoy the, “vibrations“.
Then we move to the Kriya, the physical sequence of postures combined with the breath. Remember, many of you will never have done this sequence before, and it is a tough practice! You must never do more than what is required, but it’s okay to do less! If you need a break you can just sit or rest in child’s pose.
We can also practice with our eyes shut. This helps us to turn inwards, to notice how we feel; and stops us competing with and comparing ourselves to others.
Some of the elements will be done to music to lift your spirits and to motivate you. Some will be done in silence, so you can establish your own rhythm and notice your breath and how you feel.
We finish the Kriya with more chants and a yoga nidra sleep. Then feel free to stay for some yoga wellness tea. You will be given the chants, the Kriya yoga practice; and we will provide you with music suggestions for your own home practice.
